BABBITT’S ONLINE/MONSTER ENERGY®/KAWASAKI TEAM GREEN™ RIDER LYNDON SNODGRASS TAKES A TOP TEN FINISH AT THE BUCKWHEAT 100 GNCC
Newburg, WV - The Grand National Cross Country Series returned to racing after summer break over the weekend in the heart of West Virginia for Round 10 of the series, where XC-1 pilot Lyndon Snodgrass would be the lone rider for the Babbitt’s Online/Monster Energy/Kawasaki team as teammate Grant Baylor recovers from injury.
Torrential rains on Saturday would soak the once dry track, making the conditions near perfect come the Pro Main Event on Sunday afternoon. Snodgrass would get off to a mid-pack start and come through the end of the first lap in the sixth place position, before moving up to the second place position on Lap Two. With the lead in sight, Lyndon would set off to overtake the lead before running into issues that would force him back to seventh in class, where he would finish at the end of the race.
The GNCC Series will return to racing in two weeks time at the Mountaineer GNCC on September 15th in Beckley, West Virginia, where Lyndon Snodgrass looks to battle for a podium finish and Grant Baylor hopes to be back to GNCC racing.
